ever heard of Psychotica?
Edited on Mon May-16-05 04:10 PM by SlavesandBulldozers

pat briggs

band

This band was waaay ahead of it's time. Fans of Tool, Dancehall\Reggae, Bowie, Sisters of Mercy, Ween, Queen (the list of influences/genres goes on and on) might LOVE this goup - oh and drag queens might like them too.

this was a very good band. Check out these great track names: "Ice Planet Hell", "What is God?" - "Freedom of Choice" (a Devo cover) - "Cybernation" - "Blue Fear". if you can get a copy, which is doubtful - pick up their original album it looks like this. .. .

it's a self-titled album (Psychotica)

they broke up a while back, after Red Ant records went bully-up. their 3rd album "Pandemic" is apparently, 5 years after its completion, in a safe somewhere.

1. I saw them live. They played Lollapalooza with the Ramones

back in 1996 or 1997. Damn my memory is bad. They are great. They had Sofia Ramos (spelling) singing with them. She looked at me and showed me her tongue, ahem, skills, shall I say. I liked the looks of her tongue skills and she sang great too.
