Heads up: Listen to Norah Jones's new album for free on NPR
The new album, The Fall, is due to be released on Nov. 17th. But NPR has the entire album that you can listen to for free right now:

I'm listening now, and enjoying it. She plays guitar instead of piano. However, it still has that mellow vibe I so enjoyed in her previous three albums.

A few reviews of the album:

Thanks to the involvement of folks like Ryan Adams (who cowrote one song) and Kings of Leon producer Jacquire King, The Fall has been billed as Norah Jones' rock album. In fact, it's something even more surprising: a hot-blooded soul record from the queen of the even keel.

Norah Jones switches from mellow to angst-ridden on her fourth album, with spectacular results, says Neil Spencer.

... when Jones lets it rip, so to speak, as on The Fall's moderately rollicking saloon stomper ''It's Gonna Be,'' she remains, at heart, a girl gone mild.

Which is not to say she can't rustle up
a fire just that it's more candlelight than call-the-FDNY blaze.

Enjoy!
