1. Unless there's a thread that I'm specifically interested in,

I avoid that place. I used to frequent it a lot.

But finally, I decided that for my own sanity, I needed to take a "shake the dust off your sandals" approach.

I've realized that the haters in R&T have been deeply damaged by toxic religion and that only experience, not intellectual argument, will change them.

I know of at least one case where this happened--not to a contributor to the R&T forum, but to someone in real life.
