Gravy Boat
A son invites his mother to dinner at his apartment at college. When his mother arrives he introduces her to his roommate who is female and assures his mother that they are only roommates. After dinner when the mother leaves the roommate asks the son if he saw where the gravy boat got to as she couldn't find it. The son has no idea and the roommate asks if he thinks that his mother might have taken it. The son says no he didn't think so and that it will be found in time.

A week goes by and still no gravy boat. The roommate asks the son to contact his mother and see if she knows what happened to to the gravy boat. So he calls his mother and thanks her for stopping by for dinner and then he asks her if she has seen the gravy boat. "I am not saying that you stole the gravy boat, I am not saying that you didn't steal the gravy boat, but the fact of the matter is that the gravy boat was here when you were here for dinner and now it isn't.

His mother replies, "I am not saying that you are sleeping with your roommate, I am not saying that you are not sleeping with your roommate, but the fact of the matter is that if you were sleeping in your own bed you would have found the gravy boat by now."
