Ok art people, a serious art question.
My husband was dumpster diving yesterday and found a picture, not sure of the medium (doesn't quite look like a print), but it is a picture of gulls flitting around a shore. Kinda abstract. Bold lines and bright colors. If I can get my camera charged up, I'll take a picture front and back of it. And then wrestle with Photobucket. Now the picture frame is a little banged up. But on the back is tbe provenance(?). There is information about Giacomo Porzano and this picture is signed Porzano. There is also a sticker with a seal on it at the top, in Italian. Oh, it's dated 69/2/5 on the bottom left hand corner of the front. Signature on the lower right hand corner. Both in the border area.

Does anyone know anything about this Porzano?

1. he is mid 20th century italian artist
did everything from illustrations to oil paintings...his works are moderately collectable rainging from 100-200 dollars to 800-2000 dollars at the high end...of course it all depends on the work...what you found could be worth about 200 bucks at least...

3. The style of the wings of the birds and the lines of
the bodies are similar with definite features of gulls. It looks like it could be chalk and ink. Is that possible?
