2. Thanks
I snatched a moth (yeah I'm an asshole) & threw it in the web hoping for a "dramatic" shot. Before I could do anything it was dragged back in the bottom of the hole.
Sorry moth.

3. Poor moth.
Remind me to never take a walk with you around Alligator Lake (up the road from my house). :)

4. No need to worry (unless you've got a yappy little dog)
Just kidding of course. I lived in Louisiana several years ago & frequently encountered alligators,

Cottonmouths have been my deadliest encounter so far

6. To me the muted colors represent more heat. Am I right? The spider is ominous,
a great catch. Other than that I like the third one best.

8. Tons o' heat
Edited on Thu Jul-28-11 12:38 PM by HarveyDarkey
Temps in the 90's, heat indexes between 110 & 120. It's been miserable.Early morning is somewhat tolerable.
The third is my favorite too. That's what keeps the Goldfinches around. Although they're too quick to ever get a good photo of them.
