6. Whoa, looks like my nesting corner!
Except that my landlady won't let me paint the walls anything but white. Computer, check. Remotes, check. Phones, check. Books, check. Paper and pencils, check. Only thing missing is the coffee mug. Methinks we could swap spaces and be perfectly comfortable in doing so. Nifty, check!

13. once i had a house in which my tenant asked if she could paint
each room a diff color. i said ok but in writing needed to have assurance that she would paint them back on leaving,

for her duration it looked like an easter egg,
with EACH room having darker color co-ordinated trim.

purple room had dark purple trim....etc

she kept her word

14. it's cozy -thanks - and i'm not in it nearly as much in it as i want to be
Edited on Sat Feb-19-11 01:31 AM by Mira
i'm least in pain when standing up holding my slinged arm with the healthy hand.

in the too much info department: along with the busted arm looking like a ripe eggplant already i developed a huge melanoma on my bad arm hand today and had to make judgments about returning to the ER- i decided not to.

keep sending purple healing light, it will be integrated in the site of the pain to lighten the existing colors and throbbing

(i whine - but i'll be alright - just won't be soon)

15. Whine away, specially if it helps
with pain relief. Sending lots of healing, pain reducing vibes your way.:hug:

Keep an eye on the hand. Oh and there is such a thing as a fracture blister. Should you get one (hoping you don't) don't let it scare you.

Power has been intermittent since this afternoon so going to post and run.

11. My thought's on this image.... Nice books, read most
If someone invites me into there home, like the person above I read everything. I look at everything too. Your work is on the wall in front, Comfy chair, Painting above your wall chair back. The painting is what I look at. What's in the image is less important.

I buy and sell a lot of Art. Just what I look for.

12. i want to have a little tete - a - tete with you
forgive the poor typing - i'm temporarily handicapped.

before i can feel comfortable with you being in our group/contributing and commenting/i must say that i cannot overlook the way in which you entered it, and i must get a few things off my chest.

by now i suspect you have caught on to that we are appreciative of each other in this forum, courteous, we try to speak well and in complete sentences just because we value good breeding.

above all we do not curse at each other or use profanity towards each other.

i admit, for what this means to you, that you are contributing photos, comments and ideas that i find enriching and if you understand what i just said, then future interaction may slowly make me comfortable with you.

i am not needed to point this out, but you have a few apologies to consider before in my eyes you will be one of us.

====
one of the books was written by a family member, and there are only 6 copies.
====
again, fwiw
i hope you heard that i could like you, just don't act like all is well, it is not well yet in my estimation.
