I need advice choosing a photo, please
Edited on Fri Oct-14-05 07:33 PM by Carla in Ca
This is my black beauty. She is a 1957 Chevy 210 Post street rod with a 350 motor and '4 on the floor'. Holly carb, Flow Masters and tuck & roll interior. She will celebrate her 50th anniversary in 2007.

1. Great car and great
pics. For strength I would go with the first one. just something powerful about that angle and the closeness.

2. Wowsa! That's one sexy car!
I agree with CC, the first shot is the best. The other two look like used car ads, but the first shot gives a feeling of it's size and power.

Very nice wheels!

6. Thanks, Immad2
I always wanted one. In the 60's and 70's only 'the guys' had the cool cars but I swore one day I'd have one so a few years ago my wish came true. Come on by and we'll take a ride!

7. Hey, thanks for the invite. I'm still looking for a 1963 Chevy shortbed
step-side pickup that I can restore back to stock condition. One day it will show up.

That sounds like a great project. Classic cars, just like classic rock will never go out of style. I gotta tell ya, at 52 years old, driving a street rod does wonders for what ails you. But the best part of it all are the car shows. They are fun and you learn so much from talking to other people. We never expect ours to get trophies because it is a driver, but better to drive than be stored in a garage and just looked at once in a while, right?
We are now looking into a new instrument cluster, fuel injection and a better stereo. Custom Audio Sounds installed a Kenwood stereo for us so we could have the 'stock' look in the dash but the quality is terrible. We have hesitated to cut the dash to install a better stereo but we figure, what the hell, the car is modified anyway so why not have that?
The only thing I would never change though is the steering wheel. That is what makes the car such a trip to drive.
If you find your dream car anywhere near us, let me know if we can help.:hi:

Here are a few more photos. Find what you are looking for. You will never regret it.

10. Much better to drive than to store. Just seeing a car like this cruising
down the street does wonders for a great many people. I don't think "modifying the dash" hurts the pleasure of a great car and thanks again for sharing this car with us.She/he can be driven with pure pride!

9. I like the third one. I can see the whole car and it's at a good angle.
It's beautiful. Congrats on a job well done
