Industrial Strength Sunset a couple of hours ago
I realized an effort was in order to get the electrical lines out of the photo.
Since I could not, I decided to apply a basic principle of
advertising:
If you can't change it, feature it.

3. Industrial strength is right, it's almost.....lurid!
Amazing the purple in there too! I don't think the power lines spoil it, au contraire!

7. lurid...I like it. There are multiple themes that could be drawn from this
The sunset colors, running the full spectrum of visible light, almost look like a scene from Las Vegas. And of course, Las Vegas runs on power, and lots of it...so the power line tie-in is kind of neat like that.

What happens in Vegas...gets exported to sunsets.

Great picture, Mira.

4. Incredible colors. You did the right thing by going with the scene.
Power lines drive me crazy here all the time, but sometimes their presence is the essence of the scene. That's certainly the case here. They sort of anchor that unreal sky to reality somehow.

5. Thanks! It's like they are holding up the weight of the purple part.
I all but wrecked veering down into a steep driveway to get a shot of this.

I'm still healing from a cut I got on coral in the Keys while stalking a bird, who knew coral is alive and has organisms that can give you nasty infections?

Photography can be a dangerous hobby in the hands of the careless, I must commit to being more careful.

8. Yes, please be careful.
I came pretty close to falling off a 200' cliff some years back, trying to frame a shot "just so". I got the shot, but in retrospect it wasn't so great, and not worth the risk.
