In for a penny....
In for a pound. It's true for me, and also for you who still click on my stuff.

The day was exhausting. I could not move in my house. They were everywhere, in clumps. There were easily a hundred people milling about, they clogged up the whole place but they stayed out of my workshop which is the whole basement.

So I had a big and private place left for me just lots of noise overhead.

They had WALMART, yes, Walmart, cater their lunch.
It was not bad. Fruits, cheeses, fried chicken. The mail man came by and I told him we were having a yardsale. But to please get a plate and have some lunch. He did.

Just one shot to show you how the plot thickened in general.

Another couple of shots to show you my living room and my room next to it as they look tonight.
I thought of calling Craig's list: come and get it, cheap, till 6 am only.

Did I mention that they photographed all the areas they augmented/changed/turned into a movie set in order to put everything back the way it was without me having to be involved? And gave me signed papers that the would do all the work involved?

And this last one is fascinating for two reasons. They covered the windows with fabric or foil to soften the light, and then illuminated them artificially. And the second reason is to show the capable grip woman, who moved this stuff about as if there were no weight to it at all.
I wish the photo were better. But I did want to show the windows, the lights simulating sunshine, and the entire idea which was so interesting.
They brought their own huge truck pulled generator. My electric bill is not involved.
And, by the way, they will be here 2 more full days to fascinate the neighborhood, and back next weekend.

1. I had no idea the production was that big!
Is this going to be a feature length movie?
Such an incredible number of people involved.

I got nervous just looking at it. I am such a lover of peace and quite, even the cat meowing can too much on some days.

2. I would have loved this
and been in the middle of it.

I lived in an area where a lot of film people resided, and it sparked an undying interest in the "how" of movie making. I frequently find the DVD extras more interesting than the finished product these days.

3. It could be an Indy hit!!
And then you would get tour buses coming down your street for a time.

Well, ya never know! Tom Cruise filmed part of The Firm in our neighborhood and I noticed it got the street on the tour bus route for a few years, along with Elvis Presley's first house a couple of miles away.

Enjoy. I predict you will miss the excitement when it is all over.

4. My guess is that you are already a "celebrity" in your neighborhood!
Neat photos!

5. More like a nutcase
not unlike the heroine in the little movie. I told my son that they are making it here and that it's about an eccentric old lady who has retreated into the world of her art.
He laughed raucously til he coughed.
I asked him what was so funny.

Now off to look at your photos of Wien encore une fois.
