1. In some circumstances, I don't want to be that close
but that is one (of many) reasons I'll never be a great photographer. My hat off to those braver than me.

3. It would be a great challenge/exercise for those of us here to set up their gear with the widest
angle lens or zoom setting available, lock it in for a week, and go shooting. Myself. I would hide in a closet, but if I ventured out in day 3 or 4, I might learn a fraction of what those who get covers and stories in photo oriented mags like National Geographic or the defunct but archived RW Life Magazine http://images.google.com/hosted/life have known and practiced.

4. Life and Look inspired me to be a photographer. Nat geo was nice, but
It lacked the fire of the photojournalist one saw in those two magazines.
