My water submission choices...
Instead of adding more photos to the main thread and turning it into even more of a dial-up nightmare (especially since I have dial-up ;-) ), I thought I'd start my own thread, and would encourage others to do the same if they have more than a few pictures.

Of course, you're no doubt familiar with this one (included for the sake of completeness)...

Deception Falls

And here are my other choices...

Alpine Falls Rapids

Still Point

Ice Storm

Another view of Deception Falls

Seattle Fish Ladder

Tye River

Curved Water

Snoqualmie

(And here's the funny thing. These are all photos I've taken over the past year, since I started shooting entirely with digital cameras. My best water shots, taken over the past thirty years, were predominantly taken with 35mm film. So, if I can get my hands on a film scanner, my final selection may be none of these!)

4. I want to go to Tye River.
But for the contest, I would pick Snoqualmie.

Just for curiosity sake, though, where is Tye River?

12. Yep, if I'd known most of the nation would be in a heat wave...

...during the contest voting period, I would have picked Ice Storm and won going away on its "subliminable" appeal! ;-)

14. We do, on occasion...
That particular ice storm - January 7, 2004 - was the biggest I've seen since moving here in the early '80s.
