Poll question: Help me pick my "Green" entry...

Since submissions have already opened, I need to pick something quick. Fortunately, living up here in the Northwest, I've got lots of green images in my files; the downside is that I'm stuck on the choice. At this point, I'm omitting titles, since I wouldn't be able to figure out ones for every image in time; I'll choose one for the eventual pick, once it's clear which one that will be.

1. Hard to pick, but

The reason I selected 9 was the moss, basically. I almost entered a mossy picture, but my problem was that it wasn't mossy enough. After all, it is "green" that is the competition, and the moss has all different colors of green in it, with about the same texture. Had the contest been named "flowing water" or something, I am sure I would have selected another one.

But I may put more weight on the topic and the interpretation of the topic than others do. I don't know.

Seriesly.
For me it is # 8 / same reasons mentioned by Celebration - but I like the vertical composition.

All beautiful, you're way ahead with the one I picked for you last time, so just listen and get it over with.

3. I like slow speed water effects and i chose 7

because the stream is almost like a secret flow that's only visible from time to time. I did almost chose number one though for the color of the water.

I went with 4, but could just as soon have chosen 6, 8, 9 or 10.

9. Well that was very difficult, but I had to go with #10.

I like all the shades of green in it, and it has a slightly mysterious or fantasy air about it, like some delightful little forest creature could peep out from behind one of the trees. Mostly I liked it because it is a spot I'd love to sit at, and breathe in the deliciously cool, moist greenness and hear the water hissing past.

Very peaceful and contemplative photograph, at least for me.

Tough choice. All wonderful and I had to think about it and go over them several times before I made a decision. In another 5 monutes I might have picked 2 different ones. Sigh.

...and, to top it all off, I forgot to include one photo that I had as a front-runner.
