1. I'm having trouble viewing your pictures
I've tried everything I can think of but still can't see them.

3. Oh and it has and I am so glad. I would like to float across that gorgeousness
along with you.
It takes me out of my reality for the moment, and is simply luminous.

4. That is such a relaxing view
I'm glad I got to see these. I can even smell the damp of the morning air. So calming and peaceful.

The first one still isn't showing though. It's trying to download but is taking forever. Not sure what the problem is. File size maybe?

5. It was a magical place.

I'm not sure that I did it justice but I tried. I was hiking mostly along the ridge line and it felt like I was floating.

I hope that all of the images are displaying properly for you now. All of the images share the same security settings. You might try viewing them directly in the Smugmug gallery if a reload does not solve the problem: http://bknight.smugmug.com/gallery/8367345_hbbPf#548890930_c4YT3 "> http://bknight.smugmug.com/gallery/8367345_hbbPf#548890930_c4YT3

7. All great shots
Those are all great shots. I'm particularly fond of the first three, with the clouds rolling over the landscape.

9. I expected wineries ... and saw the Smoky Mountains.
Conjecture.

"Appellation" is a reference to how something is named.

10. I think it's another way of spelling Appalachian
and easier, too, since I had to look that spelling up. :)

12. It should have been "Appalachian". I flew home yesterday and was very tired but not drunk.

I was not paying attention and selected the wrong word from the pick list. Please do not throw asparagus at me.

13. No asparagus here...
I was just kind of amused. I thought it was a great play on words and that you had done it intentionally. :)

11. Takes my breath away from
the first to the last. Thought I'd died and gone to heaven when I saw #3 then the last one totally blew me away. I don't know how you can withstand being in such magnificence without passing out!

17. I'm 45 min away from "Mayberry USA" and about 50 min away from the
Blue Ridge Parkway, or the Appalachian Mountains.
Would you believe I just co-drove across the whole country to find "America the Beautiful"? The Red Limestone parts.
And I have not taken that one hour drive to re -visit what you are showing in a long time, way too long.

As a matter of fact, I have not been on the Blue Ridge to take photos since I bought my first Digital Camera, and said: What do I need that for? Slides are great.

You inspired me. My back yard awaits !
