Nothing happening here yet ... waiting not so patiently. But Southern California is nice and warm, and Santa Monica is a great little town. :) I'll have some photos of Venice Beach and other oddities when I get back.

3. There is.

I could always change my ticket, but the dr. said she wouldn't let her go that long, two weeks over, so everything should work out fine. We're noticing a few changes today and we just came back from a very long walk complete with lots of hills so we may be moving things along. Kristina seems convinced that next Tuesday is the day. :)

be Tuesday. Sometimes moms just know. I just want grandma to get to spend as much time as possible with both daughter and this grand-baby. It is going to be hard enough to leave, not fair if you don't gets lots of cuddle time. :hug:

6. No need for details, but I travelled across the country to be there for my sister's

delivery of my nephew. I know - it's a trial.
My sister, BTW, lives in Santa Monica.

Nevertheless. It will be as it should. The baby will be perfect, and after that determination, it will be here for a very long time.

7. Take a hike in the Santa Monica Mountains

Up in Topanga is a beautiful little park called Red Rock Canyon. Wild flowers are in full bloom now and it's beautiful. I've taken hundreds of pictures there. Of course, it's not Alaska, but it has it's own beauty.
