1. It looks like you took another walk, and this one ended with luminous. The last one
is simply wonderful. It's like a gift of promise.

4. Sad thing about that one.
3 or 4 minutes before I got to the hillside vantage to take it, I could see between the houses and trees what an amazing sky was unfolding. By the time I got to where I'd have an unimpeded shot at capturing it, the radiance had dropped a lot. Grabbed a few shots before heading for home, but the ones I might have had if I'd arrived just a little earlier... well. This is the photographic equivalent of a fish story, I guess, but then a lot of fish stories are true too.:-(

2. Whenever I see one of those construction walkways . . .
I look at it and hmm and haw, because I know there's a picture in there somewhere but I can never find it. You have succeeded where I have failed. Now that you've shown me how to do it, I shall go back to the drawing board and rethink my strategies.

5. I've always been fascinated with the idea of using these as frames
but never got the hang of it either. Turning the camera 90 degrees can often make a difference, but having said that, I miss out on better shots a lot because I just forget to do it.
