1. You took these whilst floating in your little hovercraft did you? If you were not such an
inspiration to me, and if you did not teach me constantly the more I study your shots and crops, I would say you are unabashedly bragging.
Your entry takes my breath away, by the way.

5. You're too kind.
Actually, these are all within a five-minute walk of each other. In fact, the first two are just opposite sides of the same arch.

3. I like #2 a great deal..
They are all visually interesting but #2 speaks to me, I can hear the Gregorian chant reverberating through a vast space . The real irony in it is that I'm a Dawkinsian atheist.

It's really not fair, there is absolutely nothing like that around here, although I have a glimmer of an idea for my gates/doors shot.

As far as haute culture goes, I live in a wasteland. :)

We have plenty of culture in these parts, the problem is that much of it is fungoid and it is all growing on something. ;)

8. Thanks. I can say the same thing about your contest entry.
Evocative in spades. Nice to see it's doing well.

9. These are all really nice,
but the last one is my personal favorite. I'm so envious of you people with your beautiful doors and arches. The only arches we have around here are the golden kind.

10. That's almost the same way in Houston.
If it's more than 50 years old, well, it's time to tear it down. At least Galveston doesn't have quite that bad of an attitude to beautiful old things and buildings :)

13. Oooo, I like number 3
Really pulls me in.

When I first saw it my eyes went out into the courtyard but the more I looked I was drawn down to the interior and the inside space. Nice!
