Offroading in the Rockies
I joined a 4x4 offroading group and went on my first trip yesterday. It was awesome... adrenaline-pumping, stressful, fun, amazing and gorgeous! And I can't believe that my 1984 Ford Bronco II made it there and back. Only had one problem, had a cut wire, but the awesome guys in the group helped get it fixed, and I finished the trek without any more problems. I'll definitely be going on more of their adventurous outings again... after I get better tires!

The photos taken from INSIDE the vehicle were taken by my friend who came along for the bumpy ride. The photos taken of my vehicle in motion were taken by one of the other members of the group. The rest of the photos are mine.

1. Yikes.
And I thought the roads we were on last weekend were bad! These are very pretty. Is that a small glacier by the lake or just snow?

2. I think it's just snow
But I'm not sure, I've never been up there before. And yeah, it was definitely a harrowing experience!

4. Very impressive...
...and, with that off-road capability, you ought to go into business offering DU photo excursions into the San Juan Mountains.

5. Wouldn't that be awesome?
Although my little Bronco II could only hold one other person comfortably. I don't think anyone would want to sit in the small back bench seat while going offroading.
