That's our city's motto, and this little story proves it. The comments are pretty funny.

This happened right by Cal Worthington's Ford dealership. We've already had two serious maulings and several close calls in one of the outlying city parks this summer, but right here in the middle of town is getting little close for comfort.

1. Hey Blue, I think we got your crappy weather, pouring rain., 46F

The trees are changing (maples) it's too soon!!

2. The comments on that article sound like a Simpsons episode . . .
The citizens demanded a bear patrol after a bear wandered into town. When they saw how high taxes were because of the bear patrol they demanded, they decided that the high taxes were really caused by illegal immigrants :P

3. The comments on the ADN's articles
are always a hoot. We've got some real characters around this state.

4. I left Anchorage when I was too young to realize it
:).

I was born there.
