The last snow games and the bouviers
I took a bunch of photos last week after what was hopefully the last snow. My pack loves the stuff.

This is Roufous. He is staking claim to the chair which apparently has the best snow to eat.

Bouvier boxing. This is Roufous and his half sister, Maia.

Mr. Retired Showdog, posing

The pounce on what none of us peoples can see in the snow

3. Thanks!
It's really hard to get a decent shot of a black bouv. The details in their coats/faces, etc just don't come out unless you super lighten. Then the rest of the photo looks too washed out, at least with the photo programs that I have at my disposal. I don't know if a better camera or a better program, or just more experience with both would make a difference.

2. Great!
I tried to show these pics to one of our dogs, but he just wanted to chew on my hand so I sent him packing.

Mr. Retired is a beauty. They all are.

4. If I printed out any of the photos, Roufous would gladly eat them.
He will eat anything that will fit in his mouth and can be swallowed.

Mr. Retired (Alexander) loves to pose. He's been like that since he was a wee pup. Mr. Hamdog. The other two in the pack are his children, and like many children, walk all over the doting dad.

Here's Mr. Retired before he was retired, before mom got too lazy to keep him in the perfectly groomed bouv coat.

5. Wow, he is really a handsome guy.
And I know what you mean about the eating. Sitting right next to the computer here is a DU bumpersticker that the puppy got hold of. It has a perfect imprint of his teeth, at least as they were a few months ago. Maybe it's time we bought a car and put the bumperstickers where they belong...

11. Oooohhhh...China, she's boootiful!
I love their faces. Such expressive eyes, and big black noses. That's a nice head shot, too!

9. Had a friend who had two that were trained to protect him. They
were powerful dogs. They really demanded to be loved on.

10. Definitely some happy dogs!
They do not seem the slightest bit bothered by the snow or cold temps. :)
