Here are some photos I've done...
All of these were taken on my trusty little Olympus Camedia D-535 Zoom 3.2 Megapixel digital camera and tweaked in Photoshop.

These first two are from a cypress swamp on the property of the Tallahassee Museum (http://www.tallahasseemuseum.org/).

These next two I took around Hyde Park in Chicago about two years ago, near the University of Chicago.

And this is my niece last weekend near the St. Marks lighthouse (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/St._Marks_Light).

1. Great shots
I really like the first one, a place to get lost.

3. Thanks. There's a boardwalk winding around the "museum." I shot those from one part of it.
There are a bunch of alligators out there, though.

Makes me want to visit. I've never been there. Looks really interesting and mysterious.

4. North Florida has a lot of natural beauty left, but not for long if the developers get their way.
Just don't try to fly to Tallahassee, the fare is almost double flying to a nearby major airport and renting a car (unless you get some kind of deal online or something).

5. Somehow this swamp
doesn't look like something ripe for condo development. Snakes alone would keep me away!.

It definitley should stay the way it is.

6. Luckily, there are a lot of people around here that agree with that sentiment.
That doesn't keep the developers from trying, though. Right now, most of their efforts are focused on the Gulf Coast, I think.

And you're reasonably safe up on the boardwalk where I was. ;)

8. Great pics though have to say
I am partial to the cypress. Can make a person homesick specially in a couple months when it gets cold here. Or should I say if it gets cold here. Hope you can fight the developers off, they have ruined enough of the state.
