1. Good picture. It snowed here in Lexington Ky
today too, but it wasn't as pretty as that.

2. It's not often one gets a chance to see fully-bloomed tulips ...
... wind-coated with wet snow on one side, I guess. I saw that this morning and said to myself, "Self? Isn't that why you got the digital camera?" (Not really, but it's as good an excuse as any.)

And I like the sense of contrast; spring trying to make its presense, but winter refusing to go away.

... as I braved the elements in my Birkenstocks to get that shot. I'd probably have to wait at least a couple of years before I'd get the chance to photograph snow-encrusted tulips again. Then again, maybe we'll have another snow storm in May. :shrug:

(I sure do miss my California.) :cry:
