Does anyone else think the Photography Group should have a Demopedia

entry, maybe if only to post the winners of each months photography contest for prosperity's sake.

I thought of this because I noticed the Cooking and Baking group has there own page set up

Though if we did it, someone else would have to set it up, cause I'm an uber-dummy when it comes to things like this...

1. It should be "information you can use" I think.

While aesthetics have their value, it'd perhaps emphasize the desire to have more data regarding the way the photo was taken. Equipment, settings, etc.

2. I have been thinking about this for a while.

I spend a lot of time working in Demopedia, so I'd be willing to work on this BUT

I'm thinking posting the pictures would be hard to keep up because every photo takes up space in somebody's account. By posting on Demopedia, we'd be asking people to host those images in perpetuity--or at least for a long time.

I also agree with TahitiNut that the most useful application would be to "talk shop" about cameras and photo tips and techniques. That way, photo-hosting could be kept to a minimum.

Unless (and this is a big "unless") we could persuade the Admins to allow us to set up something like the DU gallery, with the photos hosted on their server.
