3 & 4 are the same shot. I just can't decide which crop I like more.

3. I took them at Franklin Park Zoo in Boston yesterday.
It was a cool windy day and they were very frisky. I took them threw a chain link fence which you can see faintly in the photos, but I still like them.

4. Franklin Park Zoo in Boston.
It was a good day. Already some animals aren't out because of the cold. The giraffe are in. The gorilla can go out if he wants to but he was a no show yesterday. But I got some good shots of zebras and a lion. I mostly just wanted to get the big cats before winter.

5. These are striking photos!
thanks for posting them- they are amazing!

Glad I didn't see them in the pets forum, though. I never saw any of the fence until you pointed it out- they could have been in your backyard!

Same catitude as juvenile kittens and young cats.

8. They were very playful.
Most of the times when I've been to the zoo the big cats are sleeping all day. It would have been a great day for video. They didn't rest.

9. OhmiGOD, I absolutely LOVE TIGERS!!!
I remember when I was about 12, the cover of National Geographic had a tiger on it, which I copied and painted. It turned out pretty well, too bad I didn't save it. :(

Thanks for sharing those beautiful shots! I think I might have to use one as a background on my computer. ;)
