Gotta hand it to this guy--he left quite a legacy to us. What is your favorite piece?

But really, everything.

The aria from Don Giovanni, "La chi dare la mano" (not sure of spelling), always makes me smile. My dad especially liked it too, so when I hear it it gently reminds me of something else we shared.

On edit: Thanks for posting, spindrifter. I thought I was the only one thinking today about how blessed we all are by the very fact of his birth.

4. Sonata in F K.332
I LOVE this piece.

So far have made it through the first eight pages on my piano. A very intense piece with several intricate variations and a dichotomy woven through it that makes for wonderful listening.
