The great thing about depression is..
I am a silver lining type of guy.. I know if we put our heads together we can come up with a whole thread of 'great things' about being depressed..

the worse the news, the better I feel..
for instance..

When I heard about the BP oil leak down on the coast, I thought, "Hopefully it will destroy the world quickly and I won't need to keep working and living in pain."

2. the good thing about mdmc's depression
is that it lessens the wear and tear on his aching joints by keeping him from climbing mountains and such.

5. Finding friends who can relate.
I was diagnosed with major depression and anxiety.. and my best friend is bipolar. We can relate to each other, and understand each other... we are always there for each other when one of us is feeling depressed...
