Something GOOD about FauxNews?!?!
I happened upon this thread: http://forums.catholic.com/showthread.php?t=47537 on Catholic Answers forums and was stunned to find myself thinking, "What?!?! There is actually something GOOD about FauxNews?!?!"

Seriously! From what these people say, FauxNews does not (usually?) follow the trend of framing Catholic-related news in terms of anti-Catholics or Catholic dissenters, rather, in terms of actual Catholic doctrine, i.e., truth.

Now how did that come to be? Is Rupert Murdoch Catholic? Or is this just part of the "seduce the Catholic vote" cog in the Bush propaganda machine?

Not that I'm even remotely tempted to turn on the TV and see for myself (I don't watch TV - the only TV news I've seen was in movies, like F9/11 and Outfoxed!), but I am just pointing this out, because I was unaware of the apparent Catholic-friendly nature of FauxNews.

But the problem remains: how to help those unfortunate souls who are convinced FauxNews is REAL news understand that it is mostly (other than the good Catholic stuff mentioned above) mindless pro-Bush drivel? I pray that the Holy Spirit may spread the light of truth to penetrate the darkness of their souls.

1. Rupert is a Catholic convert.
The late pope made him a papal knight for the charitable works that
his second wife Anna carried out (she was Catholic). That was just
before he divorced her and married a much younger woman.
