I just found out something WAY COOL.
Stephen Colbert's comedy was heavily influenced by someone I had a long relationship with - he passed away some time ago, but I recently read a piece on Colbert where he talked about his influence.

Heh....

Colbert's age, but of course he must have been very savvy at a young age - should have guessed from the savageness of his parody. My guy was considered to be the humorist who took comedy from search and destroy to stalk and slash - pretty dark. LOL

5. His dad was a Repub, but that was the old-fashioned sort from long ago.
My guy laughed at all politics, was pretty liberal, and he ended up married to a lesbian - of course, I always told him he was a lesbian trapped in a man's body, and that was long before Jerry Springer's show. LOL
