Hey Guys! This guy in a Feingold thread thinks I don't have the right to
mention Kerry and that because he asked me politely to go elsewher, it isn't censorship! I feel, as it is a GD Political post, And I am correcting what appears to be an implication that Russ is the firs tone pushing for withdrawal, I am within my rights. I suggested if he wants his thread to be only about Russ, he should post in a Feingold Group. Even then, I would guess you can post about other people. Lord knows, we do here! What do you all think? I thought this was odd. I like Russ so that isn't a problem. But I have a problem with being told to post elsewhere! What do you all think?

1. I agree with your assessment
I saw it earlier. I decided you could handle it and my two would likely be seen as more inflammatory than helpful. I was a little surprised by that because Feingold has never called for a quick withdrawal. But now that it's in print, I'm sure he'll be claiming he was for quick withdrawal from the beginning. :eyes:

2. Whoever it is
Is on my ignore list. Must be one of those that will not take any oppositon points about his candidate, but will go into a Kerry thread and bash away.

3. It is a strange phenomena
They all feel quite justified in not only commenting on Kerry threads, but on changing the topic - to election fraud, Iwr, S&B etc, but even when we keep the context they complain.

I have gotten in trouble on an Edwards thread on why he was uniquely good - when I took exception to the claim that only Edwards really apologized for his vote. I apparently wasn't suppose to do that. The same 2 people are playing games today - with Kennedy and Edwards rally on minimum wage repeating people can "sponsor" it, which they claim is more than the Senators are doing - they said this a couple of days ago and someone posted the long lists of Senators who are.

The Clark people were nicer, but I responded on a "What's Clark's environmental recors which then asked who could be a strong Democratic voice on the environment. Well, apparently the only acceptable answer was Clark. (But when Kerry's op-ed came out a Clarkie wrote at least 11 posts - first feeling Kerry shouldn't talk, then saying Clark was for the same thing)

4. Fortunately most Clarkies aren't like that one
Most of the ones I encounter have zero problem with Kerry and are very polite. For some reason, that particular poster seems to get jealous every time Kerry is mentioned in a positive context.

5. But even he was polite - though insistent
I also kind of think there was a desperation to believe what might not be true. I think he would have been in heaven if the Kerry op/ed were slightly different - at the very bottom, John Kerry, a Senator from Massachusetts and the Democratic nominee ... should have read Wesley Clark....

Also, many of the Clarkies seem to think Clark - if attacked - would answer as Kerry did a few minutes ago. Maintaining his dignity, coherence and logic and throwing charge after charge back at the Republicans - all provable as well.
