Hey, question: How tall is Senator Kerry?

I've always read and thought he was 6'4", but this interview with Kids for Kerry puts him at 6'6".

1. I heard his daughter say that he was 6"4 and 6"6 with the hair.

OMG! He isn't even from Revere (Mass), how can he have that much 'big hair?' (Okay, think Brooklyn as another home of 'big hair' or several places in northern Jersey.)

I think he's 6'4". However, I never rmeasured him so, I am just going by what I read. My brother is 6'3" and Sen. Kerry seems a lot taller than him, but that could be because he is on the slim side. My mother called him a 'long drink of water' and that seems about right as far as descriptions go.

but that's news to me. I always heard he was 6'4". :shrug: He's wicked tall that's for sure.

5. I could see him in Boston, over the tops of people's heads

We were in the corner and it was fairly dark, but as THK was introducing each of us, I could spy JK diagonally across from us. So he is indeed, wicked tall. (And he has that silver hair that really shows up under the right lighting.)

I don't know, I think he is taller in suits. (Some people are.) He seemed taller in his blue suit that night than he did later at the pub in his regular clothes. Then again, I could just be insane.

8. Well, he was informal at the pub, not on the job so to speak, so he

adopted a more casual stance, not quite so ramrod straight. Also he was leaning back in his chair getting comfy at one point. That put him more on our level, so he didn't seem like such a skyscraper. The jacket probably helped by adding bulk and making him look less streamlined than the dark, tailored suits do. Personally, I like him in bulky jackets. That yellow barn coat is very flattering.

7. Well, I know a guy who told me he was 6'5" tall when I

first met him. Later he said he was 6'6". So, I asked him which it was. His answer was that he'd been 6'6, but that he was currently 6'5 and 3/4" since losing the hair on the top of his head. LOL! So...maybe JK is somewhere between 6'4 and 6'5 depending on how big his hair is when measured.
