Get Kerry goodness on iTunes!
Okay, I am about to confess what a huge nerdzilla I am. I have 12 seperate John Kerry audio files on my iPod. Those of you who use iTunes, you can get the complete John Kerry DNC acceptance speech, all three presidential debates, and three other speeches given by Kerry throughout the course of the last year or so. The DNC speech and debates were a free download, and the others were "audiobooks" that cost like a dollar. If you want to download these, go to the iTunes music store and do a search for John Kerry. It brings up some freeper crap, too, but if you click on his name as the "artist" you can find his speeches. The debates are listed as "George W. Bush, John F. Kerry" as artist but you can find those too by searching under John Kerry.

Those of you who missed the Ed Schultz interviews, I believe they're still up and downloadable at www.wegoted.com .

1. Thank you for this great resource.
Can I beg you to send me the links to these so I don't have to see the freeper crap? I really cannot handle that shit right now.

I would love you forever.

9. I can't really do that re: link
iTunes is a separate program that doesn't run in a browser window so I couldn't copy and paste a link to you. However, if you have a mighty connection, I could try and email it to you or send you the file via AIM. It might be too big for my attachment limit for email, so like I said, if you have a mighty connection, I could always try to AIM it to you. Jesus only knows how long a ginormous file like that would take. It didn't take me long to download it, but AIM can be bitchy sometimes.

I have high speed cable, and a badass little powerbook.

12. I'm just not sure if they're too big
I think I have a 10 MB attachment size limit. I'd have to check. I'm not sure how big the files are, but normal sized songs are usually a few (3-5) MB, and this is a 45 minute whopper.

2. Oh, and....
Do not feel nerdy. I don't have an iPod yet, but my Powerbook is splitting at the seams with Kerryfiles...

Which iPod did you get? Recommendations?

3. How many files do you have?
I have a 4G nano, but since I'm not like a music aficionado, its a good size for me. Plus its really tiny and cute, haha

7. I'm not sure, exactly - the one you have would probably be quite
sufficient.

8. Kerry files?
The debates are all an hour and a half and the DNC speech was 45 minutes. The others were somewhere in between. I don't know how much stuff you've already got on your ipod, but you can always download it to itunes and if it doesn't fit, well, at least you have it. Like I said the DNC speech and debates were free so you're not out anything.

15. 4G Nano
I know nothing about these. But my son in NYC wants one for Xmas. How much do they cost? My daughter also wants one, but she has a birthday on Jan. 6th, so for Xmas I'm getting her a digital camera, and hopefully I will be able to get a Nano, are these considered MP3's or I-Pods ? Now all I have to do is figure out how much all this is going to cost me. I don't do credit cards. Thank God my oldest one only wants a watch.
