2. I just watched the speech...

...for the first time. Between this one and the Georgetown speech on October 26, John Kerry has made clear his honorable position on Iraq and on the dispute with this administration. He shows himself to be a patriotic citizen, a man of honor, and the true leader of this country! I continue to hope that these speeches are getting out to the public. I hope everyone who hears John Kerry speak will share these videos with friends and family. Thank you so much for making the video available, kerrygoddess. :patriot:

3. Thanks for posting, but it won't work on my computer

After 10 seconds it goes to buffer and doesn't work (both audio and video). But that radio interview from a week ago (NH radio) worked great. It's very disappointing when you think you have access to something on the internet, but then it doesn't work. Dial up definitely has its limits . . .

I think what you need to do is don't click Open but rather Save, and download the file to your computer. Then you can play it from your hard drive. That should fix the connection-speed problem.

I just got a link to a Windows Media Player version of the speech. Later today I will download to my server, just incase...

I know some folks don't have Realplayer, so it's good to have the WMP format. That's why I posted the links to FedNet earlier - better than nothing until we got the full thing.

I'm also glad the Dem organization is archiving this stuff. Hopefully they realize the potential power to get more people involved by making more of the good stuff like this available through the internet. (totally aside, I am trying to figure out how to get the PA state site to include basic stuff like roll call votes. How can people get involved, if they can't get the info they need? Hopefully the Ds are wising up.)
