Dear Lord. John Kerry is showing strong opposition to the Bush Agenda. I think the other forums ought to have this tatooed on their foreheads. Gawd in heaven, what's it going to take to show some people (not all, but some) that Kerry is a real Dem and is offering real opposition. The REthugs and their publicaitons know it.

Damn.

(I have not yet mastered images. Perhpas someone could bring this chart over here so folks could see what I am talking about.)

4. and didn't Feingold vote FOR the last defense spending bill?
Edited on Wed Feb-16-05 03:25 PM by JI7
that 87 billion dollars one ?

so the anti progressive leftists are saying Kerry is being pro war by saying he will support the upcoming one. does that make Feingold pro war since he supported the last one ?

also, feingold said he believes a president should be able to get who he wants confirmed which is why he voted for ashcroft and condi rice. but then he voted against gonzales. is he trying to have it both ways ?

of course i'm mostly being sarcastic here and i like Feingold and would be happy with him as President also, but these are examples of the stupid attacks on Kerry. bringing up these type of things and using it to attack him and make him out to be some horrible person. the anti progressive left and the right wingers both do this.

6. well, compare Feingolds numbers to Feinstein and Hillary's
both Feinstein and Hillary's numbers are better than Feingold's in both years.

but on DU it's Feinstein and Hillary who get much of the attacks.

10. I have to look closer
With a voting record the same as Feingold's, maybe I've jumped to conclusions. Weird.

11. 2003, 2004 may be atypical for Kerry and Edwards
I wouldn't make too much of these results. For 2003 and even more so 2004, the more mundane votes (where almost everyone would vote with Bush) are the ones Kerry and Edwards did not fly back for. The result would be to show them as less supportive of Bush.

If the WSJ didn't poit this out, they are being not quite honest.
