DAMN! What A Way To Wake Up!
Edited on Tue Dec-21-04 01:18 PM by angrydemocrat
I tell you I don't know if I woke up on the wrong side of the bed or what. But when I get here the first thing I see is a something about the damn sorry ass, lying ass, swifties. Anyway now it's as if I in a very raw ass mood so much so that i just want to grab someone and break their damn neck! Anyone else ever get this way? Then I click on a link of a article in the same thread where it is talking about these bastards continuing their shit and all I can think is why don't you fuckers just die and get it over with instead of trying to make other people's life a living hell.

Then in that same article it talks about how Kerry hasn't said for sure if he will run in 2008 for president again and if he was to try how others in his party would oppose it.:grr: WTF? Hell are we going to have to fight them over Kerry to. Well I for one will if it comes down to it. I will tell them all to go fuck themselves when it comes to Kerry! Hell this man has been through enough hell already and just the idea of having to fight people in my own party over him (as Tom Harkin said) "makes my blood boil!" Hell are we going to have to fight them now to? Damn WTF is people's problem about Kerry? Are they that damn scared of the man? Are they that damn jealous? These people need to get the fuck over it and lay the hell off Kerry!

1. Now, now...
When Kerry steps forward with all he's got and blows the Rethugs out of the water there will be no need to fight over who's OUR guy! BTW, take a look at the TIME magizine picture of OUR guy! That ought to cheer you up! Wish I had one of those kissy face heart floating avatars! Kerry looks downright heart-throbish!

2. Swifties can go and f*** themselves, hard
As for people in the party opposing him. I'm not surprised. I love the Democratic Party but I also see that there is a whole lot of backbiting. It's like nobody is loyal which is a real shame. I love the party but I dislike some of the people. John Kerry is a rare specimen. I've read profiles of him where it's pretty obvious that he's a caring and gracious person who's given up "glory" for others.

3. And people wonder why we don't win...
...I'm SICK of the circular firing squad. SICK OF IT. And collectively, all the haters and nose-holders and fair-weather supporters deserve just as much blame as the DLC or Shrum or whoever the beast of the week is. I'm sick of the vicious Deanies and Clarkies (no offense to those here who supported those guys and are sane--you know who I mean, and I supported Dean for a while myself ) who turn on Kerry because they're convinced their guy would have magically won in a landslide (against all the evidence we have). I'm sick of the newbie Lefty fundies who pillory him over one vote (which I happen to agree was an error in judgment) but don't have the first clue about what he's been doing for us over the last 20 years! I'm sick of the celebrity-politics TV addicts who think that because Kerry's not making fiery speeches to thousands about election fraud that he therefore isn't fighting at all! I'm sick of the little boys who talk a power-to-the-people anti-authoritarian game but still want a Daddy to be Superman and fix everything for them and get all Oedipal on him when he can't!

Whew.

4. the fair weatherness is what really gets me
Right for the past 20 years, Kerry has been fighting for us, and I just wish people wouldn't judge one or two votes especially when their candidiate didn't even have to vote on it, sure Dean or Clark could say I would have voted against it but of course they can say it.

5. You've put my feelings into words, perfectly
We lose because of this lack of unity. Kerry isn't perfect. Of course he's not, nobody is. I disagree w/ some of his positions but just because that's true doesn't mean that I can't like or respect him. He can't be on tv making loud speeches because it's not politically expedient. He has work within the system. I know a lot of people can't get that concept but that's their problem. In terms of these people who worship the other candidates. That's freaking scary. I supported Dean and I still like him but we nominated someone else whom I turned out to like better. I also like Clark. In fact, most of the primary candidates would have made fine candidates. They didn't succeed, it's not the end of the world. That doesn't mean something shady happened to bring them down. They made fatal errors, that's it. I swear, these lefty fundamentalists think that everyone should think like them. It's not possible that their dream candidate could have lost fair and square. Eating our own doesn't help anyone. I've noticed people do it here and I've noticed more prominent people do it too. We've been doing this for a long time and it's obviously not working. I guess some people are just too thickheaded to realize that.

On the bright side, it looks like the Repugs are doing this too, more and more. If we get our shit together and take advantage of this, maybe we can start winning more elections.

6. I love how they say Dean would have done this
or Clark never would have done that. WTF I guess there is a whole lot of clairvoyance here at DU because these people are ****ing psychics. lol!!!!!

Keyboard quarterbacks. I am sure that anyone of the people here would have been perfect candidates since they have so much insight into how to win a fixed election.

Back to the SBVT, this organization and the thug in chief O'Neil need to reap the just deserts for the despicable manner in which they have tarnished John Kerry's good name. AWOL in chief gets a free pass and the war hero gets drug through the mud. I can not believe that the people bought into it. Damn the liberal media. (sarcasm off)

Someone here had a very good idea. We could concentrate efforts on discrediting this organization and it's directors. I think that would make a mighty fine project over the next few years. Since they delved so deeply into John Kerry's life, perhaps we can do a little investigative work into the lives of the Swift Boat liars. I am sure it could prove most interesting.... :eyes:

14. yes and Kerry's style has always been to work from within
the system. Like when he was the head spokesman for the VVAW, he didn't advocate violence or law-breaking, and left them when they took a turn towards it. And decided to go into public service to work the system from the inside. That's always been how he wants to approach it--with respect for the rule of law.

7. I Agree With You 100%
Kerry is one of the best politicians we have in Washington. You can't help but have the upmost respect for the man. And those that don't it is because they don't know their ass from a hole in a ground. Because if they knew what they were talking about and they are a true democrat they would know that this man is fighting for us. They would know that Kerry don't only think of himself and his career but what is best for America and the American people. He has put his career on the line to fight for what is right you can't give the others that kind of credit they don't have the balls to stand and fight. They are to damn worried about there precious careers. We have good Democrats but to say we have we have plenty that have balls of steel and will fight would be a fuckin joke. Thank God we have John Kerry!

10. Sorry I posted the story link
I only posted this because the Boston Glob in their infinite wisdom (and greed) doesn't offer stories up for free that are older than 2 days. So I posted the St. Louis Post Dispatch story.

That story was a hoot. It mentioned the usual gang of losers and how they are attmepting to remain in the media spotlight. (This is not going to happen, btw. Rethuglies have a habit of picking up loonies, funding them, squeezing them to do their dirty work and then dropping them when the need ends. This will happen to these liars too. You can always count of dishonorable people to be, well, dishonorable.)

It also talked about Adm. Hoffman. I respect his service, but damn it, the man got the whole SBVT thing going because he got his wittle feelings hurt by the Brinkley book. Awwwwwh. Guess being a war criminal should mean never having to say you're sorry. What a ball-less wonder. He stood up for Kerry in '96, then drops him when a more well-funded offer comes along. Bastards like that never have bad dreams about all the people who died because of their actions. Only people with consciences, like Kerry, seem to suffer in this way.

13. No reason to be sorry
These people are all a damn joke and need to go down. I think it helps to remind people and show people what these dumbasses are up to. Yes they get pissed but not because you posted the story or link to a story but rather they get pissed over the dumbasses in the article and thats good. It really is because you get a bunch of angry democrats they don't piss and moan they plot revenge and get even! The only ones that piss and moan are those who are to damn lazy to fight or flat out don't know their ass from a hole in the ground and wouldn't know how to fight if their life depended on it! I say the more angry democrats we get the better the fight will be and those on the opposing side better get their damn shovels out and start digging their graves because they are going to need them!

15. lol--sometimes it's fun to just picture it--
some of these whiners--I just picture them face to face with John Kerry, eyeball to eyeball--and try to picture them saying the same things about him. I don't think they'd be able to do it---they'd just sink into the ground!

16. Well, I supported Kerry from the beginning
and have no plans to pull my support of him now. If he runs in 2008, I'll support him then. I voted for him. Unlike *, Kerry is honest and a war hero. He fought hard and clean. That's all I asked from MY candidate.
