Kerry statement on Gov. Mark Warner's announcement
From the Democratic Daily:

John Kerry on Governor Mark Warners Announcement

Mark Warner announced today that he will not be throwing his hat into the ring for the 08 presidential election. John Kerry issued the following statement about Warners announcement:

I have great respect for Governor Warner and his service to Virginia and the Democratic Party.

Anyone who has wrestled with this decision knows how hard it is, and Teresa and I admire Mark and Lisas devotion to their family. I know Governor Warner will find many ways in the time ahead to continue making enormous contributions to our Party and our country. Teresa and I wish Mark and his family the very best in what the future holds for them.

1. I agree with beachmom: why the hell didn't he run for Senate then?
He could be winning in a walk, but nooooo... now Macaca might actually get re-elected. And there's no guarantee that Webb will be any sort of liberal, either - in fact, I'd say he's looking to be another Ben Nelson.

Thanks a lot, Warner. :eyes:

2. Supposedly he did it to spend time with his family
A pressing question (*snark*): Who will Kos endorse now?

Speaking of Kos, I saw his thread that COMPLETELY ignored Kerry. Unfortunately he has been parroting the MSM on that point. Nary a mention of him, and it pisses me off. How long do they think they can pretend he doesn't exist, anyway? Even when talking about Bush's nasty remark, they said he attacked "Democrats." Not that he attacked John Kerry.

This sort of crap raises my blood pressure to dangerously unhealthy levels, and it's already too high. I wish I could sue Kos and CNN for damages caused by pain and suffering.
