WOW. Anyone listening to Big Ed????
He's giving HUGE props to Kerry for what he said about Bush taking his eye off the ball re:catching Bin Laden.

If they put his opening monologue up on the website, br sure to listen.

"KERRY WAS RIGHT ON THE MONEY."

He watched the CNN documentary, In the Footsteps of Bin Laden

http://www.cnn.com/CNN/Programs/presents/index.bin.laden.html

That's what got him going.

1. It is good to hear that Schultz is giving Kerry credit for being correct.
It must be so frustrating for Senator Kerry to be so far ahead of others and have to listen to their negative comments only to have them come around later. LOL, Kerry is frustrated because he is right on Iraq and he has to allow time for other people to arrive at the point where he is now, then there is Bush, frustrated because he was wrong and has created a mess in Iraq and can only offer that it is bad, but it could be worse.

5. That was superb
I liked how he said that Kerry had the sincerity and the seriousness in his voice, oh Big Ed, we have been trying to tell you that, JK speaks the truth.

I was looking at some videos today on C-Span and came across this press conference that JK did in response to the Duelfer report, and what he thought of Bush'e response, and of course during it there was one reporter who tried to twist his words but JK set him straight real fast. This was done before the debates.

Take a listen

Sen. Kerry (D-MA) Statement on Iraq & Weapons of Mass Destruction Report
Presidential candidate Senator John Kerry (D-MA) makes a statement concerning a report by Charles Duelfer, appointed by the CIA to continue the hunt for banned weapons in Iraq, regarding the status of weapons of mass destruction in Iraq.
10/7/2004: DENVER, CO: 15 min

11th video down.

10. I'm going to write too.
I'd like to encourage him to do more of the same. Frankly, when he started off I was tense - I wasn't sure where his thoughts would lead him.

7. That was great!
"John Kerry Was Right" would make a great bumper sticker because it covers just about everything the man said in '04 (as well as before and since). When did Ed say the CNN documentary was going to be re-played? I'd like to try to catch it.

13. I happened to flip past Scarborough tonight--
They were criticizing the CNN documentary because it was not anti-bin Laden enough. They really felt threatened that CNN would have a program and not say things specifically against bin Laden, as if the viewers wouldn't know how to think it for themselves! Joe S. really doesn't give viewers very much credit--must think we're all a bunch of morons. To me, the documentary wasn't pro-bin-Laden at all--just showed his life and how he turned out the way he did. And it did illustrate that he's still a credible threat, and that the Bushies failed to get him at Tora Bora. Maybe that was what they really didn't want to hear.

I lay that failure at Tora Bora right at Rummy's feet. He's the guy that always wanted a smaller more streamlined army. But only 50-60 American troops on the ground at the battle of Tora Bora? Come on now--that's utterly ridiculous. They needed at least ten times that or more.

12. Let's roll out those "Real Deal" signs
And maybe a little "Nobody Does It Better". Good to hear Ed standing up for JK, he reaches those voters who need to hear northeastern liberals aren't just a bunch of pacifist "appeasers".
