94-year-old deer hunter gets lucky shot

Not 20 minutes after his son left, Dr. Brown saw a hefty buck chasing three does. That’s what bucks do in November’s rutting season.
Hunting most years since he was 18, Dr. Brown knew what to do with his old 30.06 Remington Woodmaster semi-automatic and the big buck just 75 feet away. He had killed 18 deer before this one.
“When the buck came in, I banged him right in the head and he went down on the spot,” he said. “The bullet never came out the other side. It was a lucky shot.”
How does a 94-year-old man in top physical condition get an 8-point buck down that weighed at least 140 pounds out of the woods?

1. Ha! I figured everyone would take pity on him. Good post...
Hope to be going out on the 18th, and on Christmas Weekend. With luck I'll get two deer like I did last year. The freezer is getting barren!
