Survivor China - Episode 11 Discussion Thread
Quick post from me today. I am swamped with work. While I was sorry to see Erik go, it was hardly unexpected. PG is next, unless she keeps up the trend of winning idols. Denise probably shot herself in the foot. I think she goes after Erik and PG. She should have switched, voted for courtney and gotten to the final three with either pair.

The Reward Challenge was weak, but I am a sucker for the family challenge each year. I felt a little bad for Todd, and thats big because he is nearly inhuman. I was glad Denise won and she played it smart and took the two power players with her. PG should get over it. Its a game, not about playing fair, its about winning. Denis is silly about trusting Todd and Amanda. Her best move was to talk Erik and PG into voting for Courtney last night and taking her out of the equation, but she failed to do it. The IC was great. What a difficult challenge.

1. The way I figured it, it was a toss-up for her, decision-wise
I was shocked that she didn't vote out Todd, but I understand her thinking. She erred on the side of loyalty and integrity, probably thinking that if it came down to a final spot, that might win it for her. Had she betrayed Todd et al, the best she would hope for was going up against Erik in the end, and who wants to do that?

I'm glad she did what she did though, because I'm rooting for Todd. I would have been fine if Erik won, too.

2. Poor Denise...I probably would have voted for Erik, too,
even though it would have been interesting to see what they did in case of a tie. I wouldn't be sad to see Courtney leave. She makes my head hurt. If it wasn't for immunity, things would be pretty predictable now...vote off Peih-Gee, then Denise. But if Peih-Gee keeps winning, things will get interesting between Amanda, Todd and Denise.

3. I think Amanda has got this wrapped up
Denise needed to play her best hand last night, and she blew it.
Now Amanda and Todd will pick off PG first chance they get, and then take out Denise or Courtney if they can't get Denise. Unless PG wins two ICs and gets tot eh finals with Amanda and Todd, she is out. Amanda will take Todd and Courtney to the final three if she wins, and Todd will be forced to do the same thing if he wants to win. With Denise and PG the likely winners in a vote against any of the others, they both have to go. I still say its going to be Amanda. she played a brilliant game.
