Survivor Fiji - Episode 14 Discussion Thread - NO SPOILERS
This is a fun season. Yao man gives away the car. Was it to break teh Car Curse? I have no doubt Dreamz will stab him in the back at the final four. Dreamz has to win immunity to avoid being ousted, so he will stab Yao if he wins it and both are still there. I suspect Boo is out unless he wins immunity next. Then its the final four of Earl, Dreamz, YAo and Cassandra. I still say Earl wins this whole thing.

1. This was a great episode
yau is possibly the smartest player I've ever seen on this show. I think he and Earl will have to develop a new strategy to stay in the game. Dreamz and Boo have huge targets on their backs now considering how Dreamz double crossed Earl and Boo is way too much of physical threat and he hasn't done anything bad to anybody on the jury. Things should get very interesting for next tribal council. I'm so not looking forward to the lame, remembering all the booted contestants and burning their torches. It's lame every season.

2. Was this the last tribal that the idol was in play?
If Earl can't play it next time I think he may be in jeopardy along with Yau.

It's a mystery to me how it's going to go. There are so many different scenarios that can be played out. Now that Dreamz has the truck he may have a disadvantage if he's in the final two. Boo in the final two could be like Sandra (was that her name?) last season -in the final with nothing going for him to actually win. Cassandra is looking pretty good and Yau has been really smart but he may have pissed people off. I just don't know about Earl. Votes for him could go either way, I think.

Should be interesting. And I agree about burning the torches. I usually flip to something else when that's on.

3. The idol can be used in the next tribal council ceremony
and that's it. I think it depends on the jury, most seem like good sports and respect the remaining members they just got outplayed. Personally I respect the players like Earl, Yau and Boo for they way they played. Earl and Yau had an alliance and worked their plan. Boo survived as an out sider to their alliance and is winning the physical part, I think the jury will respect that. Cassandra will be seen like Becky last season and why do you deserve $1 mill over Earl who was actually the ringleader as opposed to a puppet.

I don't think Yau has pissed many people off. Dreamz on the other hand has double crossed at least four members of the jury, so he's out as far as winning the million.

4. They can use the idol one more time
So Earl is safe. He will not give it to Yao. Yao is up, but I suspect if Boo does not win immunity, he will go before anyone else. I am interested to see how Earl responds to Cassandra voting for Yao. We will see if Earl is as close to YAo as I thought, or if he had a secret deal with Cassandra to oust Yao in the end. I see Boo going next, then the final four of Dreams, Yao, Earl and Cassandra. I hope Earl wins the last immunity and goes in with Cassandra and Yao, but to be honest, Cassandra has to know she can not beat Yao and would have to vote for him. If I am Earl and Cassandra, I want Dreamz instead of Yao in there with me for the vote. Its three again, I think.

5. This really is a fun season
My husband and I were high fiving each other when Yao pulled out that idol. We are really rooting for him to win it all. He might actually replace Ruppert as my favorite contestant of all time.

7. This is how it's supposed to be played...
I like when there are smart players who THINK and not just form an alliance and pick people off. This one has gone back and forth with quite a few surprises mixed in. I wasn't sure how much these idols were going to play a part in the game, but they have been put to much better use this time.

I'm still surprised that Stacy botched up the vote the way she did. If only she had remained silent...hee hee!

14. I thought that about Stacy, too
but I'll give her the benefit of the doubt. We see about 10 minutes of council. Aren't those things over an hour long? She might have been the last one out of everyone to talk about a split vote. Yau's response that we saw to her statement may have been to something completely different that we didn't even see. I imagine it was edited for our suspense and pleasure.

6. This is the best season of Survivor yet. I'm rooting for Yao to win,
but he's got to make it through another round before the Dreamz deal kicks in. If Yao's a target, I wonder if Earl will give him the second idol.

8. YaMan is so genuine!...Then......the opposite is...
Dreamz. He is street-wise and behaves with the morality of the street...cunning, dishonest and selfish. He deserves to get nothing as he has learned nothing from his life's suffering.

11. Geez!
Did it really take Yao-man 30 seconds to pull out the idol or did it just seem that long? I'm glad Stacy opened her mouth...if she hadn't Yao would be gone. I think he and Earl can get Cassandra to vote with them and get rid of Boo and Dreamz, depending on who gets immunity. So while Boo is building his hiding place by the well so he can spy on them when they're talking about him, they're talking about him back at the camp! Too funny!

I'd be happy with and Earl or Yao win...they've both played the game extremely well.

13. I think I'm the only one that doesn't like Yau
I just find him annoying and sometimes too smug. I liked him at first, now I am rooting for him to leave. I don't really have a favorite anymore. I guess I am rooting for Boo only because I like to root for the underdog!
