Commander-in-Chief -- "how to exit a photo-op gracefully"
Did anyone else notice this? They had the President positioned with a book, in front of a group of children -- and when her Chief of Staff whispered to her, she IMMEDIATELY managed to extract herself without seeming panicked or dismissive. "Who wants to finish this book?"

The other thing is -- I just remembered who Sutherland's character reminds me of. There was a British series a while back called "House of Cards", where a cunning old guy (Ian Richardson) plots against younger idealists. The story is told (and narrated) from his point of view, and he actually gets his way in the end. I realize that this will not happen in "Commander-in-Chief" -- North Americans don't like the bad guy winning! -- but it would be cool if they tried it, just for an episode.

1. I noticed that photo op thing LOL
And thought about MY PET GOAT, until I got drawn back into the plot of the show. Good catch!

Next week looks like it will be hard on Mackensie. Not sure the bad guy will win, but looks like he lands a few punches that hurt.

2. I thought Sutherland
was supposed to hint at Frist with this latest episode - him being a doctor and all.

3. I just watched last night's episode
talk about inaccuracies. The Speaker does not chair committee hearings and the both houses need to approve vacancies for VP. This bothered me.
