Terrible casting on this weeks ER - Possible Spoiler Alert
If you've seen previews for ER this week, it's not really a spoiler. Francis Fisher is going to play Kerry Weaver's biological mother.

Francis Fisher was born in 1952. Laura Innes was born in 1958. Do the math.

1. This is not a reality show.....
They are actors.....they are suppose to be able to acclimate. I'll give it some latitude under this pretense.

2. Their previews irk me. Every new show is a "must see", "emotional
powerhouse" that "all America will be talking about". Two weeks ago they aired a pretty decent episode (the one nobody was talking about the next day) but the quality of the show(s) is disappointing.

btw, I missed the last 15 minutes of last week and missed out on what was overlooked on Pratt's patient. Any help? :hi:

3. The kid came back, was attacked by kids on the playground
He ended up dying because his injuries were so severe. if he hadn't overruled the social worker and let her interview him......

5. This episode was actually pretty good.

Not the emotional powerhouse as advertised but I thought it handled Kerry's situation with a deft hand.

p.s. as to initial post on age(s).....FF looks older than her years. :-(

6. She does look older.
Also, since she supposedly had Carrie when she was only about 14 or 15, she doesn't have to look that much older than her.

I also thought it was well done.

7. Yeah, after I saw the episode I didn't have a problem with it.
FF was supposed to be 60, so it worked. I'm glad Kerry stood up for herself. One of my favorite scenes of all time was her and Romano in the mens room when she said, "I'm both. I head of emergency medicine and a lesbian!"
