BSG Was Terrible Last Week(Possible Spoiler)...
and then BAM!. A great ending and major plot twist. What a fantastic show. Even the not-so-great episodes leave you with something. Is Lawless a Cylon or just a turncoat?

1. Just a turncoat? I hadn't considered that.................
Interesting idea. I and all the other posters at TWOPity had assumed that Lucy was a Cylon.

with the human race is cooked. Might be his impetus to join the Cylons for good.

6. She's a Cylon
There are two of her, one with the fleet and one on Caprica. She's a Cylon. Model number what...five?

1. Six...I'm assuming she's actually the sixth model, but she showed her 'face' first.

2. Leoben Conroy (The guy they found on the station, whom Adama killed, and then later a duplicate showed up mid first season which Roslin jettisoned out the airlock)

3. Aaron Doral (the guy they left on that space station who later paired with Six to watch Boomer and Helo)

4. Sharon Valerii aka Boomer

5. D'Anna Biers (the reporter we're talking about)

which means there are seven more models based on taking the statement that there are only 12 models, as fact. Combine that with original Boomer Cylon saying that there are 8 other cylons in the fleet. One of those is obviously D'Anna Biers. So there are seven more. One of each additional model. Some could be completley new characters. Some could be established ones.

that one of the main characters will end up being a cylon... no idea who, but one of them.

8. You mean other than Boomer? heh
Yeah I think you're probably right. I don't think it'll be an obvious choice though.

Not Commander Adama or Apollo. I don't think Starbuck either. Those three are probably inviolate. Anyways if Starbuck were a cylon why would they have been operating on her in 'The Farm'. No she's human.

There are the obvious choices.

Hellen Tigh. Though I think she's just a manipulative power hungry bitch.

Tom Zarek. Though I think he's just a mainuplative power hungry asshole.

Gaius Baltar. Though I think he's just a crazy lunatic.

No, I think it's gonna have to be someone familiar, not obvious, and not too major.

I'm thinking maybe Billy. He's in a position of subtle power. He wants to get with Dualla and maybe find 'love' (ala Boomer and Six).

9. good point on Billy
I'll have to keep my eye on him now... maybe review some old episodes I have saved on DVR (I may have to delete some now, my DVR is almost out of its allotted 100 hours!)

11. Another Cylon..
Mr Zeta (spelling) The guy on the bridge crew who blew up at Tigh. I SWEAR that he passed a gun to Boomer before she shot Adama!

Not sure, but I think Mr. Gaeta is human. The other cylons seem at least somewhat sure of themselves

16. I got Hellen Tigh being a cylon
She's just in such a perfect position too, manipulating Tigh from behind the scenes. Can't wait to see how it pans out.

23. red herring
she's a perfect "fleet widow", according my wife, the retired Navy Chief. Says Helen acts exactly like the classic "fleet widow", meaning someone who drinks to much, fools around, misbehaves while the husband is at seas, then manipulates him to grab more power so she can have a higher place in the wives' pecking order back home.

Or she's a Cylon. :-)

18. They'd have to be young.
Tigh, Baltar, and Zarek are too old. There was a 40 year armistice. And in that time, the humanoid clones were invented, most likely with a decade's worth of "research & development time", so we're talking 30 y/o or younger.... Unless... one was made to be aged from the petri dish. It is Science Fiction after all.

20. my fiancee noticed something on the DVDs...
which we just got...

(It's an episode I missed, so bear with me here)

It's an episode where Starbuck was interrogating a Cylon, and at some point the President gets grabbed by this Cylon. Up to that point, everything the Cylon had told them had been true (that's an important point here)

The Cylon then whispers something in the President's ear...which was indistinguishable while watching it at the time...

He said, "Adama's a Cylon."

Interesting. Has anyone else caught that?

Of course, just because he hadn't lied previously, doesn't mean that this is true. And...which Adama?

25. Just Cause He's Dead...
doesn't mean he wasn't a Cylon. They kept showing that static view of his face at the end of the episode and I just couldn't help but think his eyes were going to move or something.

The Doc in the "nursery", and right outside of it when Starbuck escaped. He was quickly shot by the pro athlete who she shagged.

Edited on Wed Jan-18-06 02:21 AM by lazarus
The doctor that was "healing" Starbuck at the Farm. What happens if Starbuck sees him on a ship in the fleet, or, even worse, as the ship's doctor for Pegasus?

Edit: Should read the whole thread before I make my brilliant insightful comments.

weird.

I had considered that she might just be a turncoat, not an actual Cylon...but, there is a point, how would she have been able to talk directly to the other Cylons if she's a turncoat? They'd have to be somewhere in the fleet.

I missed the most recent episode...doing homework.

Great series, though.
