I am in Colorado Springs this week. James Dobsons backyard. Help me!!!!

I am staying here till sunday for a promotional gig at the speedway south of town and the fact that this area is infested with fundies concerns me no end. I can feel the IQ points being sucked out of my head even as i type this!!

I wish i had a "Focus on your own damned family" bumper sticker to put on the rental car!!!

Couldn't find any other motel in the co's budget, so i am in Manitou Springs. Lovely, quaint little town at the base of the front range with the "Garden of the Gods" right up the road.

6. I drove up to the top of Pikes Peak this morning...

Gorgeous morning, not a cloud in the sky. Got up and down by 10:30 and by noon there were thunderstorms in the area. I suppose if i dont talk to too many people and just admire the scenery, i wont have to worry about the fundies.
