You know I was just listening to BBC Newshour and heard more on this story.

Turns out this sort of treatment of witches is not typical of native African religions. It's the mix with xian beliefs about witches that has introduced the brutality of treatment.

Oh but I'm sure this isn't "real xian" beliefs. :eyes:
