Hate comes to Washington: WBC to picket Fort Lewis, Port Orchard on Nov. 30

I misclicked a link and found myself on Fred Phelch's site. Good thing, it turns out: they have on their "picket calendar" these two items of interest for Friday, November 30, 2007:

11:00 AM - 11:45 AM - Fort Lewis, WA - Ft. Lewis 41st Divison Dr. S & I-5
1:15 PM - 2:00 PM - Port Orchard, WA - Christian Life Center 1780 Lincoln Ave. SE This is for the memorial service for Army Sgt. 1st Class Johnny C. Walls.

That scum sucking son of a bitch is going to be picketing yet another military funeral. I think he should get the welcome he so richly deserves.

this has happened at least twice in my state.
When it came out that an assistant city mgr. (I think that was the title) for the city of Duluth was gay, and neither the mayor nor the city mgr. had any intention of firing him, he announced a caravan to the city. His statements became more beligerent and outrageous as the date approached.
people planned counter-demonstrations and decent folks got angrier and angrier as Fred denounced Duluth and predicted it would soon fall into Lake Superior, etc.
TV and print news lavished coverage; there were editorials denouncing phelps and all the rest that typically go with this kind of b.s.
well, fred and his gang never showed up, but the publicity and emotional outrage they generated by SAYING they were coming wre almost what Fred could have expected if they did.

Not saying Fred and his pals won't show up....they probably will as it's a larger city and I don't think he's been to your end of the country very often...but make the fucker squirm. prepare well.

4. Here's what I would like to see...

There never are that many of the idiots at events because Phelps has a tiny congregation, mostly relatives.

I would like to see (be part of) a small group of combat vets show up, get into a shouting match, and wade in and stomp the catshit out of those sorry fuckers.

Claim temporary insanity, whatever.

Fuck them up so bad that they would never be able to withstand a bus ride of longer than about fifteen minutes. All of them. The crazy women, too.

6. They're not going to be making many bus rides in any case -

they're going to have to sell off their busses, cars, vans, church, and private residences to pay off the 12 million dollar settlement against them.

That leaves them free to picket any place or event

7. The best thing to do is go to the Patriot Guard website

and get in touch with the state ride captain for Washington. Let him or her know about this and have them show up with a couple of tons of beautiful 2 wheeled steel.

They will then handle Fred and his merry band of morons in a legal and professional manner while honoring SFC walls.
