432nd Civil Affairs Battalion returns home

ASHWAUBENON, Wis. — After spending nine months in Iraq, the 432nd Civil Affairs Battalion from the Green Bay area is expected to be back in the U.S. Monday.

The battalion is scheduled to arrive at Pope Air Force Base near Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Members are expected to spend the rest of the week at the base before returning at Austin Straubel International Airport in Ashwaubenon.

The unit left for training at Fort Bragg in November 2007 and was sent to Iraq in February.
