For the second time in less than a year, Airman 1st Class Daniel Clemons of Hill Air Force Base, Utah, is accused of shooting someone.

Clemons, 19, is being held by the Salt Lake City Police Department on suspicion of shooting a man with an assault rifle outside the Club Manhattan in the city at about 1:45 a.m. Saturday. He also faces charges of attempted murder related to a shooting in New Jersey in November and is awaiting a military discharge board scheduled for next month.

The Salt Lake City victim is in stable condition at a local hospital.

Three other Hill airmen were arrested in connection with Saturday’s incident: Airman Basic Jeremy Crist, Airman 1st Class Tacota Lemuel and Airman 1st Class Destiney Williams.

Clemons, an aircrew flight equipment apprentice with the 388th Operations Support Squadron, has been charged with two counts of aggravated assault, drive by, obstruction of justice and fleeing the police.
