Can you believe it? Someone posts a rumor that Edwards might endorse Clinton, and some "Democrats" are already calling him a "loser" and worse.

1. I saw this too, on DU and several other blogs/forums today....

What I find most chilling is that the attacks usually begin with something like "I used to be a strong supporter of Edwards" or "I had come to respect Edwards" etc... and then they proceed to echo the same lies and smears we've always heard from Edwards' detractors. What BS. It may be true that many Edwards' supporters have now sided with either Clinton or Obama, but if they were ever sincere in their support for Edwards, then his decision to endorse either candidate should be something to think seriously about, not to condemn out-of-hand. I just hate this my-way-or-the-highway brand of partisan politics that has dominated this primary election since Edwards suspended his campaign.

2. i am so damn sick of these obama freaks..and that is what they are

they remind me exactly of little lord pissy pasnts propagandists..that used to be paid to post nothing but oure unadulterated bullshit in 2000 and 2001-2002..then they became freepers..i despise these little fuckers!

Every so often a pundit will push the rumor, and idiots here get their panties in a bunch. Most of the vitriol comes from Obama supporters. Personally, I hope John Edwards doesn't endorse at all.

She works for a non-profit that does stuff for HUD and is a pretty die-hard HRC supporter...I hope it's not true. I like being able to feel like John has taken the higher ground and can just play an important role in the general, a la Gore...

I've stopped paying attention to what the "Democrats" in GDP have to say, it's been weeks since I've purposely clicked on any link I knew would put me in there...
