Request for extremely good pianist with digital recording system:
Hello, I could use an MP3 of the accompaniment for Von ewiger Liebe by Brahms (original key). I have a copy of the accompaniment on tape, but the sound is tinny and the tempo is too fast. I could record it digitally and slow down the tempo, but the quality is already not so good.

This would require an excellent pianist who already has the set-up for digital recording. It would be WAY too much of a project for anyone else. Probably there isn't anyone here who could do it very easily, but I thought I'd ask. :D

1. Hmmm... I have a new digital piano...
I haven't bothered setting up the midi link... if you're not in any hurry for this... I could do it for you possibly.

I love that song.

Do you have a deadline for this? :)

3. Which piano do you have?
Sorry to threadjack, but I'm wondering what sort of piano you have? I have the Yamaha p250 and I love it.

Thanks.

4. It's a Kurzweil RE-210 and I am obsessed with it!

It plays JUST like a piano... I was intending to buy a piano, having sold my last one a few years ago when I moved out of NY, but when I started trying the digital ones it made no sense to NOT buy one.

For the price of a used upright that you have to keep in tune (and of course, the crappier/older they are the harder to keep in tune) you can get a piano that has the action and sound of a concert grand.... with all sorts of other geeky goodies, and it never goes out of tune.

My favorite feature is the transpose button... Incredible.

On edit... here's a picture of the model:

5. sorry for the slow response
It's a beautiful piano you have, and it sounds like you enjoy it.

I have had mine for a little over a year, and I've never messed with the MIDI stuff, or the ray gun noises or tonal laughing and all those electronic sounds. I guess I'm too busy trying to learn the "acoustic piano" part.

Again, sorry to the original poster for going off-topic. I'll duck out now. Thanks.
