Just got approved for a Shell Oil card, online.
Woohoo! No more Chevron gas for my vehicles!!!

Old news here, I'm sure, but Shell Oil is the only big oil company that gives more to Dems than to Repukes. So, I went online and filled out their instant credit app. I think everyone must be approved for an initial $300 credit limit because it took only seconds to get approval, after I hit the submit button.

Here's the link: http://www.shell.com/home/us-en/html/iwgen/shell_for_motorists/cards/shell_credit/app_shellcreditcard.html

1. Citgo is good too...
The money actually goes to the government in Venezuela to build schools and such for the citizens.

3. Be cautious with Shell
They are not known for being very socially responsible, despite the fact that they give to Dems. But, hey, the lesser evil in a land of limited choices, right?

4. I've seen discrepancies on Shell
Choose the Blue lists them as 54% to Dems in 2004 (http://www.choosetheblue.com/main.php)

Cobb24 has them listed as 17% to Dems through their 2004 PAC.
